I get asked regularly which red light therapy devices I actually use personally.
This page is my honest answer. These are the panels, masks, belts, and targeted devices in my current setup, why I use each one, and when I choose one device over another.

My main red light therapy device is the Mito Red MitoPRO 1500X.

My Main Panel: Mito Red MitoPRO 1500X
The Mito Red MitoPRO 1500X is my main red light therapy panel.
This is the device I use most consistently for full-body sessions. It has the coverage I want from a large panel, but it is still simple enough that I do not feel like I have to overthink every session.
For most people, I think a strong full-body panel is the best starting point. It gives you the most flexibility and covers the widest range of use cases. You can use it for general full-body exposure, recovery, skin, joints, and targeted sessions if you position it correctly.
The MitoPRO 1500X is usually my first recommendation because it feels like the best balance of performance and practicality. It is powerful, straightforward, and easy to build a consistent routine around.
My Late-Day Option: MitoADAPT MAX 4.0
The MitoADAPT MAX 4.0 is not my main everyday panel, but it has one feature I really like: Mode 11.
Mode 11 runs 100% near-infrared with no bright visible red light. That makes it useful when I run out of time during the day and want to do a session closer to bedtime.
I generally do not want bright visible red light late at night. The MitoADAPT MAX 4.0 gives me a way to still get a serious near-infrared session without blasting my eyes and room with bright red light.
The other important detail is that Mode 11 still pulls full wattage from the outlet. That is why I keep it in my setup. It solves a very specific timing problem.
Full-Body Recovery Option: MitoPOD
I also use the MitoPOD when I want a more passive full-body recovery session.
A panel gives me more control over distance, positioning, and intensity, but the MitoPOD is easier when I want to lie down, relax, and get broad red and near-infrared exposure without standing in front of a panel.
I would not call it essential for most beginners. A strong full-body panel should usually come first. But if you already use red light therapy consistently and want a more relaxing, full-body recovery option, the MitoPOD makes sense.
My Busy-Day Mask: MitoGLOW
The MitoGLOW is my go-to device when I want to stay consistent but do not have time for a full panel session.
A panel is more versatile, but a mask is easier to fit into a packed schedule. I can use the MitoGLOW while answering emails, reading, watching something, or winding down at night.
For me, the biggest benefit is convenience. It streamlines my daily process map and allows me to consolidate the red light therapy with another task in my schedule.

My Intranasal Options: MitoBOOST and Hooga Torch With Optical Probe
I also use two intranasal options before bed: the MitoBOOST and the Hooga Torch with the optical probe attachment.
This is a small part of my routine, but I use them for a specific reason. They help reduce my nighttime stuffiness, which makes it easier to breathe through my nose and reduces mouth breathing.
That matters because nasal breathing plays an important role in sleep quality, airway comfort, and nitric oxide delivery from the nasal passages and sinuses.
I would not tell most people to start with intranasal devices. A full-body panel should usually come first. But for nighttime stuffiness and nasal breathing support, these have earned a place in my setup.
What I Would Tell Someone Starting Out
Do not buy everything at once.
If you are new to red light therapy, I would start with one strong full-body panel first. For me, that would be the Mito Red MitoPRO 1500X.
After that, add devices only if they solve a specific problem.
If you want something easy for facial skin and multitasking, add the MitoGLOW.
If you mainly treat your lower back, hips, abdomen, or legs, consider the MitoQUAD Belt.
If you want joint-focused support, look at the Kineon MOVE+.
If you want focused spot treatment, the Chroma Ironforge fills that role.
If you often end up doing sessions late in the day, the MitoADAPT MAX 4.0 is useful because of its 100% near-infrared Mode 11 with no bright visible red light.
My Honest Recommendation
Most people should start with a good panel and get consistent before adding smaller devices.
My main workhorse is the MitoPRO 1500X. The MitoADAPT MAX 4.0 is my late-day fallback. The MitoGLOW keeps me consistent when I am busy. The MitoQUAD Belt, Kineon MOVE+, and Chroma Ironforge are targeted tools for specific areas.
That is the setup I actually use, but you do not need all of it to get started.
